On the next American Black Journal,

We’ll have the Detroit premiere of Sphinx founder Aaron Dworkin’s groundbreaking performance that combines an original spoken word narrative with the music of Afro-British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. The musical work is titled “The American Rhapsody,” and it tells the story of courage and freedom through the life, speeches and writings of America’s first president, George Washington.

  • In an extended web only interview, Aaron Dworkin, Founder of the Sphinx Organization sits down with WRCJ’s Peter Whorf to talk about the organizations founding and accomplishments.
