Restaurant Restrictions in Light of Rising COVID Cases Restrictions were announced recently to stop the spread of COVID-19, including ending all indoor dining. In response, the Michigan Lodging and Restaurant Association filed a lawsuit trying to stop the shutdown of in-person dining at restaurants. Supreme Court weighs whether federal law allowing emergency abortions overrides state bans
It was a charged atmosphere at the Supreme Court as justices heard arguments in a major abortion case. The court looked at whether a federal law requiring hospitals to provide abortion care in emergencies would apply to states with strict bans.
