This week at the COVID313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall, Dr. Felix Valbuena, chief medical officer at the Community Health and Social Services Center, and Tanaya Hackney, a Registered Nurse at the Detroit Health Department, discuss how the new Delta variant surge has caused challenges for emergency room and hospital capacities once again.

Plus, Dr. Daveda Colbert, Wayne RESA Superintendent, about students returning to in-person learning this fall. Colbert shares the broad safety protocols in place at Wayne County’s 33 school districts and what families can do to keep their children safe as well.
