This Week’s COVID313 Town Hall Features:

Are you concerned about whether your kids will be able to go back to in-person learning at school, so that you can go back to work? Do you know how to keep your children and your family safe from the Omicron variant? And that it is still spreading rapidly in Michigan? 

This week on Detroit Public Television’s COVID313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall, Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) Assistant Superintendent Alycia Meriweather updates parents and families on the district’s conversations around virtual versus in-person learning for its students.

Then, Dr. Eric McGrath, MD of Infectious Disease and Prevention at Wayne Pediatrics, Inc. shares more information about the COVID-19 Omicron variant that continues to spread rapidly across the United States and here in Michigan.

Plus, the COVID313 Town Hall is joined by special guest U.S. Senator Gary Peters, who shares what he’s been working on in Washington D.C. in regards to the nation’s federal response to COVID-19.
