DETROIT SCHOOLS: Christy talks with Detroit Public Schools Community District Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti about how his district is working to make sure students don’t fall behind while schools are shut down for the remainder of the school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
WATER SHUTOFFS: One Detroit’s Bill Kubota talks with Hydrate Detroit’s Demeeko Williams about water shutoffs and Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s order to have water turned on for every state resident during the coronavirus outbreak.
3-D FACE SHIELDS: Christy talks with a local nurse who is making protective face shields for healthcare workers using a 3-D printer.
