• PARADOX OF LIBERTY EXHIBIT: An exhibit at the Wright Museum focusing on slavery at Thomas Jefferson’s plantation has stirred protests in the community. In an excerpt from American Black Journal, Stephen takes a tour of the exhibit and talks with the museum’s CEO and a member of the community coalition opposed to the exhibit. Plus, the One Detroit team discusses the controversy.

• DETROIT CIVILITY PROJECT: A One Detroit report looks at Nolan and Stephen’s Detroit Civility Project, launched with the Detroit Regional Chamber at its 2019 Detroit Policy Conference. The team talks about the project’s goal of getting people who disagree to sit down together and try to understand each other.
