Christy McDonald takes a closer look at a series of reports on sexual harassment and the culture of sexism in Lansing that has people talking around the state. She catches up with MLive reporters, Emily Lawler and Lauren Gibbons, about what they found during their reporting, some of the recent changes within the state house & senate when it comes to harassment policy, and what needs to happen next.

One Detroit contributor and Detroit News Editorial Page Editor, Nolan Finley, talks with U of M Chief Health Officer, Dr. Preeti Malani about U of M’s stance on requiring for students returning in the fall and what parents of younger children in the 12-15 age group should know about the COVID vaccine.

Hamtramck is about to be featured in a new documentary film here on PBS World’s America Reframed.
It’s called Hamtramck, USA and was created by a couple of filmmakers who spent a year looking at how local election can tell the story about one city–its history, how it’s changed, and where it’s going. One Detroit’s Bill Kubota spent some time with the filmmakers and has this preview of this national public TV program.
