NORMA G’S – Norma G’s, a new restaurant on Detroit’s east side, is the first sit-down restaurant in that neighborhood in 30 years. In this One Detroit report, Christy shows how a neighborhood development organization was instrumental in helping the restaurant owner establish his dream business.
KILL THE HATE: A One Detroit report on a clothing line with a powerful message that was started in the basement of a Detroit church. Now, the clothing is taking off and landing in stores around town.
MEN OF DETROIT PARENT NETWORK: In this One Detroit report, we meet a Detroit father who is helping other men become better parents. He leads regular meetings for dads and grandfathers through the Detroit Parent Network, where they talk about hot button issues and community concerns.
