Senator Debbie Stabenow (D) faced her challenger, John James (R), in a one hour discussion of the issues of importance to the state.
During the debate, the candidates answered questions from a panel of local journalists:
- Chad Livengood, senior reporter at Crain’s Detroit Business
- Chuck Stokes, editorial director of WXYZ-TV
- Vickie Thomas, city beat reporter for WWJ-AM
The debate took place, Monday, Oct. 15, at 12:35 p.m. during a meeting of the Detroit Economic Club.
