Detroit Branch NAACP President Rev. Wendell Anthony talks with Stephen about the controversial new Georgia law that makes sweeping changes to the voting process and suppresses voters of color. Plus, they discuss similar efforts introduced in the Michigan legislature and several other states. Also, the leaders of the new Metro-Detroit Black Business Alliance talk with Stephen about the coalition’s goals, which include developing programs and advocating for policies that will lift up African American businesses and close the wealth gap for Black entrepreneurs.
