Marie Woo: The Potter’s Potter

One Detroit caught up with legendary ceramicist, Marie Woo, to discuss her philosophy on creating, her world-renown glaze “Woo Blue,” and her commitment to preserving the art form for the next generation of ceramicists. Woo is a graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art, former board member of Pewabic Pottery, and is the 2020 Kresge Eminent Artist.
