This week we took the show out of the studios today to Motor City Java House in Detroit. Author Bridgett Davis joins us to discuss her first non-fiction book titled “The World According to Fannie Davis”, about a Detroit woman who ran an illegal numbers operation to make a better life for her family. Plus, a young photographer, Cyrus Tetteh, captures the faces of native Detroiters for a city project.
