On the next American Black Journal, it’s all about art. Stephen Henderson talks with the CEO of the Charles H. Wright Museum about a new multimedia exhibition titled “Voting Matters,” which chronicles the historical struggle African Americans endured in order to get the right to vote. Plus, Detroit artist Donna Jackson talks about her new, international collection of more than 200 posters with a political theme on exhibit at the Marygrove Gallery of Art. And, Wayne State University comes up with a unique idea for displaying art during the pandemic.
