On Saturday, June 18th, Midwest Asian American musicians, dancers and poets will present a two-hour performance embodying the collaboration, healing, and spirit of unity necessary to push our communities forward. The line-up for the event will consist of artist primarily from Metro Detroit and Chicago, exemplifying the aesthetic bridge between the two cities. KIZUNA also feature an immersive digital projection comprising art submitted by Midwest BIPOC artists.
Featured performers include: Frances Kai-Hwa Wang, Electronic Music Ensemble of Wayne State (EMEWS) directed by Joo Won Park, Nobuko Miyamoto and Joori Jung.
