Rising Voices Feast of Resistance

Join Rising Voices for an event that will provide nourishment for both the appetite and heart: Rising Voices’ Feast of Resistance! This potluck-style gathering is part of our Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month programming and will feature storytelling through food.
Together we will journey through our Asian American communities’ histories via the ingredients and dishes of our ancestors, learn about their contributions to our nation, and honor their legacies by remembering their struggles and triumphs as they built lives and communities in America.
Potluck dish contributions are welcome but not required for attendance. If you can bring a dish, please bring enough for 20-25 people. This is a family-friendly event and alcohol is not permitted.
