An Evening with Kara Swisher and Mary Barra | Wallace House Center for Journalists

The University of Michigan Wallace House Center for Journalists hosts tech journalist Kara Swisher in conversation with General Motors CEO Mary Barra as part of its continuing series: “Democracy in Crisis: Views from the Press.”
Swisher will sit down with Barra to discuss her new memoir, “Burn Book: A Tech Love Story,” and explore the dynamic interplay of legacy companies, innovation, strategic bets on the future, and tech’s potential to solve problems and not just create them.
One Detroit, Detroit Public Television and Wallace House Center for Journalists have partnered to livestream this conversation. PBS Books will restream this event Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m.
