2024 Collaborative Journalism Summit: Prepare to Partner | Day One

The 2024 Collaborative Journalism Summit will be hosted May 9-10, 2024. Watch two days of lightning talks, workshops, and participatory discussions about a wide array of collaborative journalism topics and projects.
Day one sessions will include sessions on the state of collaboration, how community colleges are fueling local news ecosystems, the collaborative power to correct false narratives, how journalists can partner with advocacy organizations while maintaining their ethics and a host of smaller breakout sessions.
One Detroit Managing of Content Operations Zosette Guir will speak on a panel about partnering with television to tell news stories. Plus, Great Lakes Now host Anna Sysling will talk about the Great Lakes Journalism Collaborative and several other Detroit PBS community news partners will be featured in the day’s sessions.
