COVID-313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall Week 8

Each Thursday at noon, the COVID313 Community Coalition for Families and Students host a virtual townhall focused on supporting parents, students, and families during the Coronavirus outbreak.

This week’s COVID313 Virtual Town Hall heard about a recent serious medical concern stemming from COVID-19 at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit where Dr. Amrit Mitra provides details regarding pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome. Dr. Mitra is on the front lines with an ailment emerging now from the pandemic.

Detroit Public Schools Community District Assistant Superintendent Sharlonda Buckman takes questions from virtual town hall attendees about when senior dues will be refunded and what input parents have been providing in preparation for re-opening.
