Trasportation is an issue with kids receiving there education. The bus comes down Greenfield literally my house sit between Greenfield and Southfield Rd near 8 but they tell me my daughter and son can not get on the bus inless the go all the way down father to 7 mile. That’s walking away from the school knowing it’s off 9 mile and Coolidge this to crazy when they could walk from my house down the block to Greenfield instead of walking all the way to Greenfield and down to seven. I use to have a car but someone total my car and it was towed. Please help me someone
Governor Gretchen the half the reason children are not getting the education the need has to do alot with transportation. Even though you have buses to school for the kids I feel if you are going to have open enrollment there should at least be a bus for kids who are going to the school my son and daughter literally stay closer to one of the schools then any other school and because the bus stop is so far really kinda a distance she might as we walk but he and her are late alot. If you all check the attendance of all the students. And address the parents to see why there student is late or absent mainly is because of transportation. No one wants the kids to stay home from school on purpose. Who does inless it’s a special day or they are sick
