Vincent Chin 40th Remembrance and Rededication: Interfaith Remembrance Ceremony

An interfaith remembrance ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the murder of Vincent Chin.

Forty years after the murder of Vincent Chin and the miscarriage of justice that followed, amid a climate of anti-Asian hate similar to today’s, a four-day commemoration will be held in Detroit and virtually, featuring a special screening of the acclaimed “Who Killed Vincent Chin?”; a national conversation on democracy, racial justice, and Asian Americans; the Vincent Chin 40th Commemorative Film Series; the 2022 Midwest Asian American Documentary Filmmakers Convening; community dialogues; public art and cultural performances; and an interfaith remembrance ceremony.
